What we collect, and why
1. Anonymized site analytics (Plausible)
We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages people read and roughly where in the world they are. Plausible is a privacy-first, EU-hosted service that:
- Sets no cookies on your device.
- Does not track you across other sites.
- Does not sell or share your browsing data.
Aggregate metrics we see include page URL, referrer, country, browser, and operating system — never your IP address as stored data, never personal identifiers. Read Plausible’s data policy for the full picture.
2. Information you send us via forms
If you submit our Contact, Newsletter, or Suggest a masterpiece forms, we receive whatever you typed (e.g. your name, email address, message, or book suggestion) so we can reply to you and act on your message. Form submissions are stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, and accessed only by team members who need to read them to do their work.
We use these submissions only for the purpose for which you sent them. We do not add you to mailing lists you didn’t ask to join.
3. Embedded videos (YouTube)
Our Library pages can embed YouTube videos. To protect your privacy, the video player is not loaded until you click play. Until then, no request is made to YouTube and no YouTube cookies are set. Once you click play, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies — see Google’s privacy policy.

Your rights
Under the GDPR (and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions) you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict the processing of, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@consciouseducation.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and update the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be announced on the Journal.
